• Position: Claims Representative *Hiring ASAP*
• Location: Eden Prairie, MN
• Duration: 12 Months

Job Description: To prepare claim submissions for audit. The goal of this position is that it will lead to a claim auditor position.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizes claim submissions and prepares spreadsheet data for entry into power
Enters data into system and verifies for accuracy and completeness.
Manipulate spreadsheets by date of service and provider name to prepare for large claim entry in power.
Investigates and reconciles any discrepancies in claims using power and on-base
Makes calls as requested to appropriate individual and/or composes correspondence in response to inquiries.
Assist with other work tasks as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ø Knowledge of computers and advanced excel skills
Ø Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes and ICD9/10 codes
Ø Excellent keyboard skills
Ø Good proofreading skills
Ø Ability to prioritize work and work independently

Minimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Six months in office environment preferably in medical field.
